This year, every dollar raised carries one purpose. Two clean water wells in rural Kenya, and the health of two communities that have lived too long with what dirty water does to them. You are not just playing golf. You are funding the work.
Why we play

When a flood washed away the equipment for a local girls' softball league, this club showed up, and rebuilt their whole season.

That is what a foursome really buys. Not a tee time, but a set of bats and gloves in the hands of kids who thought their season was over. It is a coach exhaling. It is a community catching one of its own.

Our annual golf outing is how we fund moments like that, quietly, all year long. Your entry does not disappear into overhead. It goes to work where Rotary service is needed next, whether that is a ball field across town or, as you will see below, a clean water well halfway around the world.

Last year, we re-geared an entire girls' softball league after the flood.

Where this year leads

Two wells in Kenya.
An end to the sickness.

This year, the outing reaches farther than the Quad Cities. The proceeds will build two clean water wells in rural Kenya, like the one pictured here, with Rotary members standing on the ground at its inauguration. For the families they serve, a well is not a convenience. It is the end of a long sickness.

The well itself is only concrete and pipe. What it gives back is something else entirely. Mothers who no longer walk miles each morning for water. Children who no longer fall sick, or worse, from the water they drink. A community handed back its health, its time, and the room to grow.

Two wells. Two communities. A generation that grows up without the sickness their parents knew.
